btw

last year I heard peepers on the 26th. They're late. My son says we had an early spring last year. I still say they're late. I don't care if it's cold and there's ice on the water. They can just get their slippery little froggy selves out of whatever little pod they've been gestating in and get out and get peeping. No more dilly dallying, I say!

  3. Dang, I wish I had peepers around here. But then, we *are* expecting snow tonight, so... Frozen frog pops?

  5. We had one little guy out back peep himself out but he was alone. Then we went to the market and a bunch were talking, but that was back during that one warm week. Now ... here, they are all quiet again and it's been snowing since yesterday.

  7. Maybe you should knit them some tiny scarves and leave them down by the pond! Sounds like they need a little encouragement...
