  1. WOW. I'm a s-l-o-w reader, so I can't imagine reading more than 1 a month. I'm about halfway through King's 11/22/63 and enjoying it.

  2. I didn't count the ones I read this year. Maybe in 2013?*competition in the making :)*

Are these Kindle/ereader versions or paper and glue?

And another thing. Did you turn me onto The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong? I don't remember who recommended this series but holy cats, they are an excellent read.

    1. I don't have an e-reader so those were all real books. Wasn't me who recommended The Summoning but I'll keep it in mind for 2013 :)

  3. I'm impressed! I don't think I even read half as many because I'm a really slow reader.

  4. Another really slow reader here. I think I managed about twenty or so for the year. I liked The Night Circus, but my favorite of the year was The Scorpio Races. Brilliant book. Also really enjoyed The Blade Itself. Ooh, and The Graveyard Book is on my TBR list for 2013. Good list!

  5. Holy crap, that's impressive. I haven't read fiction in over a year now. But I do keep my head in many cookery books.

    Cheers and boogie boogie.

  6. I'm so impressed. How do you keep track of your books? A simple piece of paper, Goodreads or something else? I can never remember, but I'd love a list of books I read over the years. Still haven't read Night Circus but plan to this year. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas!

  8. When I think back and try to remember books that really stood out for me, I can only think of two --
    Housekeeping by Marylinne Robinson
    and
The Heart is a Lonely Hunter by Carson McCullers
    and oh yes,
The Razor's Edge by Somserset Maugham

Sadly, I don't think I've read any of the books on your list. But then, I don't really care for the best sellers or anything new for that matter. But even more sadly, I don't even know if these were best sellers. :(

A friend just gave me some of her old books and so maybe I can begin to catch up.
