I found both shows a travesty of the very idea of Star Trek (clean, calm, scientific fantasy based on logic, science and camaraderie, not wars, violence and characters with no charisma). I don't have a favorite pen, per se, but I don't like to write with a pencil. It's gotta be a pen. But I DO have a favorite mug, favorite bowl, favorite fork, and favorite spoon. I use that same mug over and over all day long. (Pink Freud) The bowl is just a cute little cereal bowl with flowers around the edge. Don't remember where I bought it, but it's MINE! (HA) The spoon came from a Chinese restaurant that used to be near us. We went there for my birthday one year, and I told my hubby how much I liked it, so he was gonna (gasp!) steal it. I said NO, so he talked to the server, and when he told her it was my birthday, she gave it to me. (She was also part-owner of the restaurant, so it was cool.) The fork is the only one I have left from a set I bought before I got married. When our daughter worked at Pike's Nursery, she carried lunch to work with her every day. Problem was, those forks she toted to work rarely found their way back home again, so now, I only have one of them. So, I guess I DO kinda have rituals. (Just not for writing!)

Take care.Susan Flett Swiderskihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09425315552148200073noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8733289016000331233.post-32591947884473186632020-05-06T14:36:04.505-04:002020-05-06T14:36:04.505-04:00I am a creature of habit and if I were a writer I ...I am a creature of habit and if I were a writer I suspect routine would be my friend.
Love the feathered enchantment which is your new header - and a big thank you to you and your son.
I am currently reading The Dictionary of Lost Words by Pip Williams.
