The Word Verification Game - come play!

For those new to my blog I've come up with a game employing those word verifications we all get in order to post a comment on someone's blog. Some of them are just plain strange but others seemed like real words to me and thus the game was born. This is round two and I hope you'll play.

Chuni is the word.

There were chunis all around them, in the trees, flitting from branch to branch, calling to one another in that strange chittering language they used. Some had fur the color of flame, others were black as pitch and there was even a single white one sitting on a thin branch just above their heads, scolding them for disturbing the peace of the forest, its tail whipping back and forth. Suddenly they all went silent and still.
