words that is, toward my goal of 88,000. I was hoping to be finished by the end of the month...hmm, we'll see. Meanwhile, I have the very best helper in this endeavor I could ask for - thank you, D.- who will be receiving top billing in the acknowledgment section of this little tale when it gets published.

You'll notice I say when. That's because I insist on thinking positively. If you know me you might be chuckling a little here, because I can come across as being the yeah-that's-just-my-kind-of-luck type. But when it comes to what I want, what I really truly want more than anything else, I have to think positive. Otherwise, I'd just give up. And I'm not giving up.

So, who are you going to thank when you get published?

  1. Great post! I too try to use positive words it creates a different mindset and also keeps me going. When I get published I'm going to thank the people who helped me along the way. It really depends on the book that gets published. God would be no.1.

  2. Congrats on getting closer to the end! I am definitely going to thank my husband. He is always so encouraging, but willing to be my sounding board for ideas, too. Being honest and encouraging is a hard balance to find, but he does it swimmingly!
