Lucky me!

Yep, I've been tagged again, this time by Tara who gave me this:

 The rules are simple:
1. Go to page 77 of your current MS.
2. Go to line 7.
3. Copy down the next 7 lines - sentences or paragraphs - and post them as they're written. No cheating.
4. Tag 7 authors.

From LONG WAY HOME (set up: my mc is watching a documentary):

I notice some of the other mothers nodding sympathetically.
“And what was the last thing the authorities told you about your daughter?”
“They said it was still possible Kassandra had fallen, that her… body might never be found, but if she hadn’t then it was likely she’d be in contact with us. They said most missing people are ultimately reunited with their families.”
My mom’s voice broke over the last word and I wanted to hug her and tell her I wasn’t dead or missing. I was here, right here.

Seven authors whose lines I'd like to see:

Dianne
Krystey
Huntress
Matt
Sheri
Katie
You

let me know in the comments if you choose to play so I can come see what you've got :)

  1. Urg! You mean 7 lines from the WIP I may or may not finish??

I'll do it, and perhaps it will re-engage my enthusiasm for this project. Will post next week. :D
