November's birthstone is the topaz

November
In the phonetic alphabet, November represents the letter N. November is also the eleventh month of the Gregorian calendar and one of four months with 30 days. November was the ninth month of the ancient Roman calendar. November retained its name (from the Latin novem) when January and February were added to the Roman Calender.

DeleteNovember is my birthday month. If I had waited a few more days, I would have been a December baby. I used to wish I had waited because I thought December had a prettier birth stone. Now I don't mind Topaz so much. It has a cool sounding name at least. :)
