Guess what I just bought?


Yep, it's THE EMOTION THESAURUS from Angela Ackerman and Becca Puglisi over at The Bookshelf Muse. I'd been planning on purchasing this book ever since I heard about it but now that I'm so close (last chapter...) to finishing draft #1 I decided to reward myself with a little present top make use of when I start working on draft #2. Because I'm going to need it to turn my pretty good story into something wicked awesome. Plus, a portion of the proceeds of each book sold will benefit Heifer International. What's not to love?

    If the PTA still gives the teachers a monetary gift in September to buy things for the classroom, I'm going to get an extra copy to keep at school for use with my students. (Sadly, the declining economy has caused all school-related organizations to tighten their belts. The $ was always appreciated and spent with gratitude, but we may not get it this year.)
