It's all about you

Seriously. Today I want to know about you. It doesn't have to be anything earth-shaking, but it has to be about you and no one else. Like what you're doing right this minute (at work sneaking a peak at the blogosphere?), what you're writing (do tell), what you saw this morning when you first stepped outside (sunrise? A bird on wire? a dead mouse on your porch thanks to kitty?), what you had for supper last night (take out? homemade?), dreamed last week (yes, please - I find dreams endlessly fascinating), just finished reading (and was it any good?), or ... anything. It can be trivial or mind blowing, but I want to know about you.

  1. At this moment, I am listening to the late great Jon Lord (he of Deep Purple now playing the great keyboard in the sky) having dropped Charlie off at the vet's and so am passing the time waiting for the vet's to ring, blogging - must keep mind distracted or else I will go crazy with worry!

I love this pic of the kitty amidst the owls! Take care

  2. Hello! I am currently writing a short horror story due for submission at the end of the week. Finding it a little hard going at the moment, I'm not quite into my stride with it yet. I'm also nearing the end of reading Neil Gaiman's Stardust.

    1. I haven't read Stardust but I sure liked the movie. Clare Danes was lovely as the star. Good luck with your short story!

  3. I just got a tough crit back from a much-trusted CP last night and it set off a great deal of thinking and brainstorming -- as a thunderstorm rolled through and made the power blink. I sat by the window with paper and pencil jotting down thoughts while I watched the storm.

Now I'm working up the courage to open the marked-up file she sent...

  5. Well, heck. You probably already know everything I'm doing! I plan on taking another look at my side-by-side outline and then I might actually jump into the revisions for draft #2 of GRUNSDAY.

  8. Ha! Love that photo. Anyway, I'm avoiding my WIP, reading blogs, and trying to forget about how many calories were in the scone I ate today. Not a terribly productive day. Later I'll probably watch a movie, read my book, and call it a day. Such an exciting life. :P

    1. It is a cute pic (my mom sent it to me). And I wouldn't worry too much about a single scone. Besides, aren't scones like, practically calorieless?

  9. I'm blogging and watching the PBS News Hour while enjoying the fact it has finally rained for longer than five minutes. And since you asked, I had a dream about a mall last night--I frequently have dreams about malls and I'm always being chased in them (the malls, that is).

  11. What a totally cool picture!
I just finished the major revision of my WIP. After one more pass to polish it up (and working on my query and synopsis), I'll be done! It may take another month, but the end is in sight. :-)
