to A-Z or not?

This will be my third year doing this and while it is a ton of work coming up with posts nearly every day and visiting as many peeps as I can, I just love the challenge. Even more, I love coming up with a subject. Can you guess what I've chosen this year? I'll give you a hint.

What about you? Thinking about it? Waiting to sign up? Got your subject or winging it? Do tell.

Oh, and if you can't guess what I've chosen I'll tell you Wednesday :)

  1. The Universe? Stars? I'm stumped.

I have not come up with a theme, yet. Must do, but I don't post everyday. Just can't. I take the letter of the day I can post and go with that.

    1. I've given an explanation of the pic below. And I don't post everyday, well, I do, but the posts are all written well beforehand and scheduled, otherwise I'd never have time to visit anyone!

  2. I'm thinking about it. Right now, I'm wrangling with putting my ebook together for Secondhand Shoes. Hubby is haveing surgery this week. I have to have a biopsy. The day job is hot and heavy right now. Want to finish writing my first book to a series I'm working on. If I finish that, I'll do it.

As for your pic, blurred photography?

  3. I'm not exactly sure what this is either. Glad you like the A-Z challenge. It just doesn't fit with our blog.

    1. It's fun, but I certainly see how it doesn't work for your blog!

  4. Cool pic, whatever it is.

I'm not signing up. I just reduced my blogging days from three days to two so that I can write more. As it is, I spend hours just for one post with writing, blogging, and commenting back. The challenge would do me in. So I'm considering April a holiday (I think spring break might be then, too), and will get in more writing time because fewer people will be visiting my blog.

    1. A lot of bloggers use it as a holiday and I've thought about it but I enjoy doing it and it's fun to see what other peeps come up with.

Ready to rock my fourth A to Z and third as a co-host. The first one changed my blog forever. Already have my theme and will start planning posts soon.

  8. I haven't yet decided on the A to Z challenge. I'm sure I'll end up signing up though because I won't be able to resist. I've never picked a theme before. I always end up winging it.

    1. I winged it the first year but last year I picked a theme and that works out better for me.

  9. The piccie is from the Wikipedia article on wormholes: An artist's impression of a wormhole from an observer's perspective, crossing the event horizon of a Schwarzschild wormhole which bridges two different universes. The observer originates from the right, and another universe becomes visible in the center of the wormhole’s shadow once the horizon is crossed, the observer seeing light that has fallen into the black hole interior region from the other universe; however, this other universe is unreachable in the case of a Schwarzschild wormhole, as the bridge always collapses before the observer has time to cross it, and everything that has fallen through the event horizon of either universe is inevitably crushed in the singularity.

  10. Nope, not doing the challenge this year. Gotta get my novel DONE. But I'll still be checking in to see what themes everyone chose.

  12. I was thinking universe as well, but now I don't know. I'm not going to do it, because we always take holidays at the beginning of April, so I'm already behind. Good luck with it.

  13. I'm a loosey-goosey type of guy, so no theme's for me! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with! :)

  15. A to Z?
    Not.
Last month I took the whole month of April off. I don't know if I can do that this year, with a book launching in May. But on the other hand, I don't know if anybody will visit my blog in April if I'm not a participant.

  16. Sounds like it'll be a great blogfest again this year! I wish I had time for it, but there's just no way. :(

    1. It can be difficult to manage. Scheduling ahead is the key plus not thinking you'll make it to every single blog because you just can't.

  17. Well, I WANT to do the A to Z. It's all a matter of whether I have the time. I do have an interesting theme though. Thinking about it.

    1. Yeah, that's what happened to me last year. I wasn't going to do it but then I came up with a fun theme :)

  18. I did the AtoZ last year, but I just don't know if I'll do it again. While I thoroughly enjoyed it, it is a lot of time to take away from my limited writing time!

  19. Good for you. I'm still thinking about it, but leaning toward no. It really burned me out last year. But, I will be around reading everyone else's posts.

  21. I'm participating, and I have notes on possible subjects somewhere . . .oh, that's right the file on A to Z, makes sense. Anyway, I haven't made up my mind exactly yet . . .but I'm going to get those posts down to 100 words or less.

    1. Yes, it helps if your posts are fairly short. People are more likely to read and comment since they're trying to get to so many others.

  22. If I can get posts written ahead of time and a theme, I'll do it. Otherwise, I'll probably take the month off.

I can't wait for A-Z this year, but I've still to find a theme (eep!). I may wing it this year...

  27. Glad you're coming back to join us for the A to Z. I'm stumped on your theme. My first reaction was that the image looked like something related to the Sun or something like it. You got me though.

  28. I admire your stamina, but I'm taking a pass this year. I made a resolution to e-pub by August and am sticking to it. However, I am looking forward to clicking around and enjoying posts. After staring at your photo, I smile and threw my hands up.

  29. I have a couple of ideas that I'm considering. I'm hoping to hunker down next week, make the decision and get started. Last year I had a list of what I wanted to post about, thankfully, but only got the first two pre-scheduled. Yikes! I'd like to be a little less frantic next year.
