Here are pics of a tea party my sister and my niece had in the woods next to our house. As you can see, quite a bit of time and effort was put into this little party of two...
My sister and niece are the other two people who live in the house with me. A long time ago, my niece was just a tiny little person, my sister had these killer sunglasses, and I was nine years younger.
My how time flies.
She's really growing up.
ReplyDeleteNice of you two to go to so much trouble for her tea party.
All I did was polish some silver and take pics; they did most of the work!
DeleteJust lovely, all of it.
ReplyDeleteWasn't it?
DeleteLove the color scheme, too.
DeleteWhat a sweetheart! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like the tea party was a giant success!
My niece really liked it.
DeleteWhat a set-up for a tea party! Children do grow up fast.
ReplyDeleteIt was perfect.
DeleteThey grow up so fast.
ReplyDeleteBoy do they.
DeleteThat tea party looks BRILLIANT. A very, very precious memory. For all.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I thought, too.
DeleteI would go to that tea room. Some chai or black tea for me.
ReplyDeleteImagine if there was a tea room like that, where you walked through the wood to your own private outdoor alcove, surrounded by trees and birds singing...
DeleteThis is awesome! And of course if you're in Maine, the weather is probably nice enough to do this during most of the summer.
ReplyDeleteMaine has fantastic weather in the summer. There's a reason it's called vacationland :)
DeleteAw, that's perfect. Just perfect.
ReplyDeleteIt was :)
DeleteHow delightful! Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome!
DeleteThat picture of your neice with a tea cup is priceless. However where are your traditional tea party hats!? Those ugly ones mandatory to wear in British territory.
ReplyDeleteI want a tea party! As beautiful as yours.
You're right! We totally forgot the party hats!
DeleteBeautiful! Thanks for sharing this lovely tea party!
ReplyDeletetime really flies quickly! It's cruel
