I usually post this on the last day of the year, but...this year has been hard and sad. I did, however, read a fair number of books this past year. Not as many as the year before but a respectable number. Here is my list in the order I read them, with stars after those I loved the best.

Also, if you haven't read the Murderbot novels, I can only suggest you rectify the fact immediately. Murderbot is awesome and yes, I know some of the books aren't 'full' books but I've spent that much on meals I didn't enjoy half as much.

I'll leave you with the wish that this year is better than last, that no one you love dies, and all your books are good ones.

  1. Your book list puts me to shame! I'm posting my own list next Monday.

    1. I try to read more books than watch tv. Yesterday was a fail tho as I ripped through the rest of Season 2 of The Witcher.

  2. My significant other is currently reading the Murderbot books. He's really enjoying them.

Victoria Schwab is on my TBR list. I have a bunch of her novels sitting on my shelf, just waiting.

And I wish the same for you this year.

    1. You would love Murderbot. Like maybe want to marry them.

  3. Loved seeing your reading list. It's impressive! Hoping you have a good year!

    1. Thank you! And I hope you have a fabulous new year as well!

  4. My publisher has Murderbot, but sadly did not give it to me to translate it. I also need to read Ishiguro, but domestic publisher here gave it such ugly cover I cannot make myself to buy it LOL

  5. Thirty-seven - that's really good.

  6. I see no stars next to the Discworld novels. I don't blame you. The first two aren't all that. They get better as the series goes on.

    1. These were re-reads because I forgot. And I know the series gets better :) Sam Vimes is one of my favorite characters, along with DEATH. LOl. But I haven't read them all and so am working my way through the series again.

  7. Hi Marcy...Happy New Year!

WOW, this is some list. Thanks for sharing! I hope to do more reading this year. Time to dive back into the literary world. I have been taking too much time off. LOL

    ALL the best for 2022!

  8. Impressive list! I only managed 27 on the year.

    Happy New Year!

    1. 27 is a good number of books imo!

    2. I'm hoping to top it this year. 7 so far.
