There are a lot of blogs I enjoy - hundreds - and I don't always have time to check every single one every single day. But there are a few I make a point to visit, even if I don't always comment. One is Dianne's blog, In High Spirits. I don't even know how it happened but I started following and commenting and then before you know it, we were trading manuscripts and critting and now she and I share first impressions, our first of the month critique of your first page. She may not realize it but she is the mentor I needed. Grimoire is a far better tale thanks to her and I am slowly becoming a better writer.
The other blog I'll mention is the Rejectionist, who is about as clever as they come. I seldom leave comments on her blog because (I'm not worthy) mostly all I want to say is, wow, brilliant, just effing brilliant - again! Her dear superior person letters kill me. Plus she has a picture of General Kael on her blog.
Not worthy? Not worthy? I disagree.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to check out those sites! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the links - they sound fab!! Take care

I love both those blogs! You're right--worthy of a follow.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome you'd point out two great new blogs for us!
ReplyDeletewoo hoo Christine's fix worked! I can now comment on my own blog again - and yours I hope!
ReplyDeleteOH! I blush ...
ReplyDeleteI certainly don't rank up there with The Rejectionist! I love that blog, but I have to admit that I don't comment either, Marcy.
I think I'm scared of her.
Maybe a little.
Glad you can comment. And hopefully, you were kidding about not feeling worthy of commenting because that's just silly talk.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to check them out, but I highly doubt that you are not worthy! After looking at it, I would have to agree to brilliance and humor- the No Comment post just at a glance made me laugh!
