Recommended

I read this book a while back and recently watched the movie with my brother. I thought it was an excellent adaptation and if you haven't seen it or read the book I highly recommend them both.

And because I don't have much else to say today I'm going to recommend some blogs that hopefully will have something:

1. Dianne
2. Matt
3. Katie
4. The Inky Fool
5. Sarah

Lastly, I'm near the half way mark with my project, LONG WAY HOME, and I've also spent the past week revising chapters 12 -14. I'm hoping to finish chapter 15 before the weekend is over. How is your work coming?

  2. Haven't read the book yet, but the movie blew me away. The whole time I watched it I kept trying to figure out how the title fit in. And then they get in the boat and...yeah, powerful stuff.

  9. The movie was sooooo good! Everything about it. It actually was filmed not too very far from where I live and the people, culture, and hills are so familiar. I would like to read the book also.
Now, off to check out your blog recommendations.

  10. Congrats on the half-way mark! So awesome! I'm somewhere less than half-way, in a place I like to call Chapter Four. :)

  12. I read the book and loved it.
Then a bit later without knowing it I rented the movie and was totally engrossed (tho' it seemed familiar). Only realized the two were the same after I finished the film.
