As you may recall, I recently went to visit my mom in Florida and among the places we visited was Leu Gardens in Orlando. These pictures are from the Rose Garden.
Gorgeous roses. I used to get angry at the squirrels who would eat the rose buds off of my mom's roses. She had started blaming vandals. I had to be especially clever to catch the squirrels doing it and when I did and showed mom, she wanted them all killed. So we hired a squirrel exterminator. They are just vermin anyway.
Thank you all for coming by. The roses were definitely spectacular. I want to paint the last pic. And those orange ones look like they're on fire, don't they?
Beautiful! Have a wonderful Sunday.
ReplyDeleteStrolling through a garden is one of the joys of life.
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures. I just planted 3 more knockout rose bushes yesterday. I love roses.
ReplyDeleteYou can't beat miniature roses for reliability, hardiness, and longevity. My 'little' roses spread five feet wide and high.
ReplyDeleteRoses are my favorite flowers. Of course, I love this post.
ReplyDeleteI can just smell those beautiful roses. So pretty.

Those are beautiful! I had a rose garden in our first house. Your photos make we want to have one again. :)

ReplyDeleteDeb would be right at home in a rose garden.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous flowers!
ReplyDeleteI love roses, but I don't have much luck growing them here on the farm.
