My New House (in Skyrim)

I bought it last Saturday...

Isn't it nice? And here's what it looks inside...

There are two rooms upstairs, one is the main bedroom (mine), the other a smaller room for my companion, Lydia, who says amusing things like, "I am sworn to carry your burdens," in a weary voice when I give her something - like better armor or a health potion. And then there's me/Ash (my alter ego), sans helmet ...

Do I look like I can kick some ass or what?

... and yes, Skyrim rocks!

  1. I'm not sure what Skyrim is, but you do look very tough. I don't know if you would "kiss" a$$, but you could definitely kick it :)

    1. It's a computer game with some pretty amazing graphics and a massive world with tons of side quests in addition to the main quest which means you can suck a whole lot of fun out of the game :)

  3. Breezhome is a nice place to be, especially when you upgrade it from the Jarl's right hand man. I like what you've done with the place :)

    1. thank you :) I can easily imagine myself sitting by the fire with Lydia when we're old and reminiscing about all the dragons and trolls and necromancers we killed ...

    1. see my reply to Old Kitty. If you like computer games this one is pretty fun. Big world, lots of side quests. lots of different ways to go with your character (good, bad, in between), and different levels for those of us who aren't expert gamers - like me!

    1. very. If it was at my house I wouldn't get any writing done at all. Good thing it's over at my brother's so I can only play once a week - assuming he's around. It's also a nice break, a little escape from the real world.

  8. Oh, thank heavens I'm not the only person who didn't know what Skyrim was, although I did guess it was a game. I wonder if my girls know about it. It looks a bit Zelda-ish, and they love their Zelda!

    1. It's the fourth installment from Bethesda Software. The first was Arena, then Daggerfall, Oblivion (which I finally beat) and now Skyrim. They all take place in the same world but in different parts and they just keep getting better. Also exceedingly addictive.

  9. Impressive graphics. I won't get into it, though. I know me too well. I'd never do anything else.

    1. All it really needs is a modern kitchen and bathroom. In fact, there aren't even any outhouses - but I'm sure someone will invent a mod for it :)

  12. Way cute! Love your house and what your character looks like. My mom plays Skyrim too, and enjoys it. Funny about Lydia's weary statements. LOL

    1. You sure can :) But you might want to wait until I buy a bigger and better house, which I'm sure I'll do at some point - right after I kill a few more dragons :)
