This is a place my son and I like to go walk with the dog, Jonah. It's a short drive from my house - 7 minutes - and offers a nice trail that leads down to the Damariscotta River. If you're ever up this way it's a great walk :)
Next Sunday I hope to have some Whale Watch pics for you ...
Meanwhile, I hope your Sunday is as enjoyable as mine :)
That looks like a awesome place to walk. Happy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteIt is - esp. at low tide when you can walk along the shore :)
DeleteLook at Jonah! I'd go down there every day with him as well. Does he like to jump into the water after sticks? Or do you prefer no wet dog in the car?
ReplyDeleteJonah loves to go and oh, yes, I totally let him jump in the water after sticks which he loves to do. Wet dog, dirty dog, even smelly dog (I can always give him a bath), whatever. It's his walk, too. Plus, my motto is, a dirty dog is a happy dog :)
DeleteSpeaking of whales. In 87, I got to visit Kona, Hawaii. Every morning around 7 am the whales would beach themselves. It was awesome to see such greatness early in the morning while sipping on coffee.

Ah, Hawaii. Such a beautiful place. How lucky you were to be able to visit!
DeleteSo beautiful. And I love turtles. That would have been fun for me to see.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the whale pics. For someone landlocked like myself, they're completely fascinating. I've been to beaches several times, but I've never been able to spot one.
I got a lot of great pics :)
DeleteSuch pretty photos~ I love taking hikes with my little one~ she's always pointing out something that I wouldn't have given a second glance to and saying, "isn't that AMAZING???" Makes me smile. Whale Watch photos??? I'll be back for those :)
ReplyDeletenext Sunday I'll start posting - I took a ton!
DeleteLooks like a lovely place to walk. Very nice photos today!
ReplyDeleteIt is a pretty place and close, too, which is nice. In fact, there are lots of places nearby for me to go walking, including over the field and into the woods where there are miles of logging trails. It's a bonus to living where I do :)
DeleteWhat a lovely part of the world!
ReplyDeleteIt is very pretty here. The only place I like better is California.
DeleteI wish I had somewhere near where I live that's so lovely. Looks like a great place for a walk. I'd bring my dogs every day!
ReplyDeleteJonah loves to go to Dodge Point. He especially likes the dead crabs (ick).
DeleteIs that a turtle on a log? that is SO cool!
ReplyDeleteWe tried going whale watching once, but the boat people cancelled the trip because of rough seas. I was so bummed. I hope you guys get to see whales!
Very nice pictures. Sounds like an excellent day.
