Ha! Let's hope Milo isn't right about that. Your dog might be peeing glow in the dark urine. But how strange. Does sort of look like they were sprayed with something.
I was thinking it looked like some kind of virus too... and so sorry to hear about your skunk problem! Peppy le Pew is cute on TV but the cat knew to stay AWAY!
They are speckled. No idea what would do that.
ReplyDeletePerhaps a dog? One that drank a little too much acid?
ReplyDeleteDepigmentation? Could be a problem in the soil if all flowers show same effect. If only on some, then most likely a splashing of a corosive.
ReplyDeleteHope it's not acid rain. . .

ReplyDeleteOh dear!!! Hope these bunches of blooms will be ok! Yay! Take care

lovely they are. I have similar ones in deeper purple colour :)
ReplyDeleteThey are pretty, even with spots. Love your new blog pic, too.

If you've been getting as much rain as we have, maybe it's rust. HA!
ReplyDeleteVery lovely. Thanks for sharing. It's been so hot here in California that the only flowers I see are on the television because I don't dare go out! ;)

I love your petunias, and your new header is awesome, too! What a great celebration of summer! I hope your July 4th was fun. :-)
ReplyDeletelooks like it might be a virus infection. Lovely piccie though
ReplyDeleteNot sure why they're doing that. But they otherwise look great.

ReplyDeleteThat is a great shot, even with the markings. Just works.
