Jonah Hatch June 3, 2007 - June 21, 2018

I am still bereft.

But I will be back at the end of the month with walks I went on, books I read, and whatever else comes to mind.

Stay well.

  1. I'm sorry. Our furry friends should live as long as we do. I'm sure he was well loved.

  2. So sorry. Last November, we lost Trisket. It was hard to live without a dog and their deaths leave an open place in our hearts. Blessings.

  5. I'm so sorry. There isn't much in our lives that hurts this much. Maybe nothing. That's our payment for the amazing and loving years we spend together.

Speaking for myself, I don't ever get fully over these losses.

  8. Oh, I'm so sorry for your loss. (Talk about a lousy time for me to write a post about how terrific dogs are. Sorry.) Every pet we lose takes a little piece of our heart with them.

  10. SO sorry Marcy... It is such a heartache to say goodbye to our furbabies. I remember each of mine with love and still feel sadness when I think of them. Like Alex says, they should live as long as we.

Not even thinking about the time when my baby leave me. He's turning three in October. The years are just flying by... to think, when I'm old, I'll have to deal with such a heartache...but we know this when we chose to love them...their spirit lives with us and we will see them when we cross the "Rainbow bridge."
