As I mentioned, I took lots and lots of pics in the few days I was in Florida. My aunt was there and she and I would walk every morning to the end of the road where Mr. Smith has his nursery. There were rows upon rows of palms, star jasmine that smelled divine, and crape myrtle in a variety of shades. Tuesday night we decided to walk at sunset and see what we could capture...
Wow, those are gorgeous pics! Some friends of ours just returned from Florida :) I'd have to go in the winter-too hot for me, lol.

Like the Spanish moss!
ReplyDeleteSunrise and sunset are my favorite type of pictures. I could look at these for hours. So relaxing.
ReplyDeleteI was in Key West last summer at the end of July and indeed it is hot but not too hot for me. Love the pictures of the palm trees! Cheers ~db
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures! I don't know what it is about the sun birthing from the horizon and descending into darkness that I always find so inspiring.
ReplyDelete...lovin' the pics! Grew up in the Gulf, and those palms...truly wonderful :)

One my biggest regrets about not being able to fly is that I miss out on the different flora, landscapes, and general natural beauty of other locations.
ReplyDeleteI went to Florida all the time when I was a kid, but I was of course more interested in a certain mouse and certain rides rhyming with Chase Fountain than in the beauty of nature.
Thanks for sharing :-)
