aka The Practice Room, where you and everyone else who shows up unplugs for one solid hour and writes. No interruptions, no internet, no phone calls, and kick your kids, cats, dogs, and hubby out so you can concentrate on one thing: writing.
That's what I did Monday night instead of watching Eureka and Warehouse 13, two of my favorite scifi shows. But since I'd missed the seasons premier the week before (my mom in Florida doesn't get scyfy, if you can believe it) I figured I might as well write instead of watch something I wasn't caught up on (I'll catch it on Hulu or something).
Anyway, I accomplished what I wanted and I may just make it a habit. Monday night works for me but if it doesn't for you there are many other practice sessions available.Who knows, maybe I'll see you there ;)
Great idea. I will have to check it out.

ReplyDeleteHardcore TPR junkie here! Awesome post, Marcy! I haven't seen you there before (I'm usually write with the day groups because sadly Dianne's times are when my kids are getting into bed) but I hope to see you soon!
ReplyDeleteGlad you did some writing, but don't miss those shows! My Tivo is set to record them all season, just in case.
ReplyDeleteGlad it worked out for you! Here's to progress!
ReplyDeleteSo cool, Marcy! Thanks for spreading the word. Like Marisa, I also have difficulty getting to Dianne's times. Although it was my plan to join on Monday and the power was out... The downfall of internet get-togethers.
ReplyDeleteI'm very glad TPR has worked for you!
