ah, reading material

I went to the library on Wednesday. Popped into the kids section and all the way to the back where the YA is. And instantly I found all these books I've been wanting to read:

CLOCKWORK PRINCE by Cassandra Clare
CROSSED by Allie Condie
NEVERWHERE by Neil Gaiman
PRETTIES and

SPECIAL by Scott Westerfeld
THE BLUE GIRL by Charles deLint

Now I have a lovely stack of books to read PLUS the knowledge that they have A MONSTER CALLS not to mention a few other titles I was looking for. I never even made it to the adult section which comprised the other half of my TBR list.

What are you reading?

  4. Neverwhere is Gaiman's best book, at least of the ones I've read. Love it. I'm reading Rotters, by Daniel Kraus.

  6. I'm dragging though Of Human Bondage. I like it but it just doesn't capture me like The Razor's Edge did and that's the main reason I checked it out. I have two Joan Didion's waiting and The Moon and Sixpence as incentive to suffer through the rest of Human Bondage. God bless libraries.
I've learned to not let myself read more than one book at a time.

  10. Ooh, I LOVED Neverwhere. It was crazy and weird and creepy and awesome. I can't wait to read Crossed, and Clockwork Prince is waiting its turn on my Nook right now! I'm finishing up Ship Breaker at the moment, which is fascinating. Hope you enjoy your books!

  11. Out of that list I've read Neverwhere and it was lots of fun. I'm currently reading Nicola Morgan's Write A Great Synopsis - fab writing advice. After that it'll be back on fiction - more than likely - *pauses to look at shelves* - Graham Greene, The End of the Affair.
