dreamy kitchen

isn't it?

and yes, this is how I waste time upon occasion, perusing the real estate section, admiring pics of rooms I'd like to live in. I think I found this one on some site selling fixtures. It might have been Kohler. It doesn't matter. Anyway, I saw this one and liked it the best. It wasn't too fancy and the colors were good, relaxing but not sedate. I could see myself sitting at that table with my laptop*, happily typing away...

* a laptop I don't actually have, but since since this is a dream...

  1. I love the simple lines of this kitchen. :D

Finding images to get us dreaming can be quite motivating. I do that, too!

Have a great weekend. (Haven't forgot about you. I'll email you soon. Life happened. lol)

  5. oh. thanks. Actually that is very close to the plan I drew up for my kitchen.
We are doing major renovations to my 93 yr old house. I thought it was time to do away with my postage stamp-sized kitchen designed by a man in 1919. It had room for a wood stove but little space the dishes I've got scattered from the laundry room to the garage. Literally.
My current decor is labeled White Trash circa early 80s.

    1. my kitchen is fairly new, but quite small. I miss having a big kitchen with a table in where you can hang out.

    1. I stay away for fear of getting sucked in. I barely have enough time now to write and blog.

  8. I could live with that kitchen. I used to be addicted to all the HGTV shows because I love looking in other people's houses. It's a perfectly valid pastime. :)

    1. makeovers are fun, be it a house or a person. I readily admit to enjoying the show What Not to Wear with Stacy London.

  10. That's a nice kitchen. But I'm presently in love with my new, vaguely steampunk themed kitchen (even if it's not finished yet).

  12. I don't require much in a kitchen or house-- just some tall windows to allow the sun to shine on me when I am sitting in my favorite chair or washing dishes. I used to think I must have a little cat in me as I would curl up on the carpet in the sunshine and read. lol.

  13. That is a great kitchen! I'm pretty low maintenance when it comes to my house. As long as everything functions well, is clean and isn't falling apart, I'm happy. The house we live in now has an eat-in kitchen and I'm really loving it! Never had that before.

  14. I could really use a kitchen like that. I especially love that counter table thingy in the middle. :)

  15. I like the windows way up top, they add to the extra feel. I like it. Though I'm more of a country kitchen type of person.

  16. Very clean. Looks nothing like my kitchen. I played in there all day and it looks like a bomb went off.

But at least the food was good.

Have a great weekend and boogie boogie.
