A bonus entry to the great give away for anyone who knows where my post title came from (hint, it's a movie).
But first up, a reminder that every month Dianne Salerni and I team up to critique your first page. We have two openings left for September so if you're interested, email me!
Second is the question of the day, which I know is going to pop out of my head any moment now and onto this screen ...
Ah. Got it! What was the last movie you went to see and did you like it?
I last saw Dark Knight Rises and liked it quite a bit, although I did guess the ending ;)
Last film? A Simple Life. Yes I enjoyed it very much!
ReplyDeleteYay! take care
x
I have not seen that movie. I'll have to netflix it.
DeleteI think the last one I went to see in the theater was The Hunger Games.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I don't get out much.
yay! I can rent that now that I read the book!
DeleteI don't get out much either - unless you count playing skyrim :)
You mean, which movie I actually left the house for? Er, that would be the Sherlock Holmes movie Game of Shadows. Loved it. And, no, I don't get to the theater very often anymore. :(
ReplyDeleteLoved that movie altho sadly I didn't see it on the big screen :(
Deletewe saw madagascar 3, and it was surprisingly good
ReplyDeleteits hard to pick movies for the whole family when most are pg13 and we still have an 8yo who doesntvlike scary movies yet, but we did see avengers, totally wicked! (wheres that from?)
Haven't seen any of the madagascar movies but I did recently watch Despicable Me and loved it :)
DeleteHi, Marcy,
ReplyDeleteLast movie... Magic Mike....
Didn't like it much. I had expected a LOT more dancing and less bad acting. Matthew McConnahey ... big disappointment.
I think I heard that the guy who plays Alcide in True Blood was in that movie. Too bad it was disappointing. I usually like Matthew McConnaghy (no idea if I spelled that right - sorry Matt)
DeleteI can't remember... Maybe Transformer? It's been awhile for me. However, I'm excited about seeing the Bourne Legacy though.
ReplyDeleteThat does sound a good movie. He was good in the Hurt Locker.(that was him, wasn't it?)
DeleteThe Avengers.
ReplyDeleteLoved it!
I want to see this but I haven't seen Thor yet and I'm told I can't watch the Avengers until I see Thor. Darn it!
DeleteOoooh boy, the last time I actually went TO a theater to see a movie??? Yowza, it's been a long time. I'm pretty sure it was "Jurassic Park." The day it was released. (I'd read the book and wanted to see the movie.) Yeah, I did enjoy it, but was disappointed in how much the movie strayed from the book.
ReplyDeleteAre you kidding me? Girl you gotta get out! I thought I was a stick in the mud! Ha!
Deletethe last movie i saw in the theater was "the best exotic marigold hotel" and it was okay, i didn't love it like i thought i would :)
ReplyDeleteIt's always disappointing to not love something you hoped you would. I felt that way about Prometheus.
DeleteI went to see Prometheus. It was visually stunning. I did like it.
ReplyDeleteYup.
DeleteDid "Sex, Lies, and Videotape" inspire your title?
ReplyDeleteI only see movies on TV, years out of date (Egypt, ya know...). I was very impressed by was Benjamin Button when I saw it about 6 months ago. What an awesome idea, what a beautiful movie. A coupla months ago I saw Thor. Dang, Chris Hemsworth is HOT! :-)
NO, but strangely, that IS one of my most favorite movies. I think it's Andie McDowell and James Spader's best - imho.
