Hasta la vista baby

Considering how mine ended  - with no job - I'm happy to see it go and hope that 2013 turns out better. I have a few goals, like get rid of some stuff (okay, get rid of A LOT of stuff), finish what I'm working on now, be happier, make other people and dogs named Jonah happier. Not that he doesn't look pretty happy in this picture, but I think I can do better, maybe actually become the person he thinks I am.

How about you? What are your goals for 2013?

    1. I was about to say the same thing but Super Ninja Alex beat me too it. And if there's anyway I can help with couponing, please let me know. I have no secrets and will share anything you need.

PS: Very glad to have you as a Blogger Buddy. I think if we lived closer we would have fun.

  5. I also hated this year, the worst in my life, and I had bad ones before.
I'm also looking for new things happening in my career, so I wish we both have luck in that field in the next year!

    1. yeah, I'd have to say this year was pretty sucky in many ways, but I did finish writing another book and started a new one so at least my muse is still with me.

  6. This was a pretty pathetic year for me also and so my only goal is to make things better in the coming year. Oh, and to be kind to people.

  10. I think one of my goals will have to be to complete a manuscript. I failed to do that this year, but Tracy Tam is still rolling along. =)

    1. I've completed a manuscript every year since I started blogging, which a lot better than my previous track record. Keep writing, Krystalyn :)

  13. Happy New Year, Marcy!

Yeah, 2012 wasn't the greatest year, but I am appreciative for the positive side. I did get to meet YOU... and a few other blogger friends while I worked in Florida. I also created the perfect writing space for me... NOW... I JUST NEED TO WRITE ... LOL That is my goal for this year!

2012 I worked on me... getting in shape and to keep my head above water. FOR 2013, I am going for publication. I WILL get that agent this year! I plan to REALLY work on my querying and networking. It WILL happen ...

And Marcy, it will WORK for you too. Take this time to get your work OUT THERE! Sometimes when we lose our jobs .... something better is waiting just around the corner. Stay focused and DO IT!

Wishing you every happiness for this year!

  14. 2012 was fantastic (in spite of the jobless bit), I'm hoping that 2013 will be even better.

Goals: Get at least two manuscripts self-published, get eight others ready for submission, finish at least four new, get a publishing contract and live happily ever after (I'm nothing if not optimistic. :)
