I was really looking forward to this movie. I remember last winter going to the movies with my brother and seeing the previews for Elysium and Oblivion.
^ That's how far I got writing this post the other night and then my phone and internet went down before I could finish it. My apologies! Right now my internet is working but it may go kaput again so I will work on this and hopefully have the full review before the day's over.
Did I like Elysium? Eh...it was okay. But I liked Oblivion a lot better even though I prefer Matt Damon over Tom Cruise. More on this later...

DeleteI like Matt Damon better too but his movies choices lately haven't inspired me. I like scifi but had no desire to see either of those movies.
ReplyDeleteI love scifi but Oblivion was the much better movie. I'd actually buy it because I can see watching again. There's something about it I like beyond the scifi aspect.
DeleteI'm not a Cruise fan, but I have to say the premise of Oblivion seems much more believable than Elysium's. It's kinda sad that there've been a number of big budget movies in the last 6 months, and all have failed to impress me.
