Elyssium

I was really looking forward to this movie. I remember last winter going to the movies with my brother and seeing the previews for Elysium and Oblivion.

^ That's how far I got writing this post the other night and then my phone and internet went down before I could finish it. My apologies! Right now my internet is working but it may go kaput again so I will work on this and hopefully have the full review before the day's over.

Did I like Elysium? Eh...it was okay. But I liked Oblivion a lot better even though I prefer Matt Damon over Tom Cruise. More on this later...

  6. I heard Elysium was kind of a big meh, which is disappointing since I really wanted to see it. I suppose it will be a Redbox checkout for me.

  7. Sorry for your computer frustrations. I haven't seen either movie, so I'll be interested in your review. Thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm going to try and be more regular and get back to reading First Impressions.

  8. My husband and I saw Elysium last weekend and I was blown away. Jodie Foster was sensational.

  9. I like Matt Damon better too but his movies choices lately haven't inspired me. I like scifi but had no desire to see either of those movies.

    1. I love scifi but Oblivion was the much better movie. I'd actually buy it because I can see watching again. There's something about it I like beyond the scifi aspect.

  10. I'm not a Cruise fan, but I have to say the premise of Oblivion seems much more believable than Elysium's. It's kinda sad that there've been a number of big budget movies in the last 6 months, and all have failed to impress me.

  11. I'm more of a Matt Damon fan, too. (Cruise always seems to be screaming.) But I'm not into scifi so will take a pass here. Hey, have a great weekend!
