Puppy Update

 He's getting bigger!

I know, he's supposed to get bigger, but I can practically see it every day. Still can't hop into that chair though.

Then there was this fun thing I got in my stocking. It makes all kinds of shapes. The quarter is there for size reference.

And we had a fire at Beth's Farm (just up the street and sells tons of fresh produce they grow themselves. Fabulous place). This photo was taken from my bedroom window around 7am, and the fire department had already arrived. They lost a lot of farm equipment, and I sure hope the insurance kicks in before they need it in April.

Finally, I forgot to mention that I made Tiramisu and OMG was it good! So good I made it twice, once for Christmas at home, and again for Christmas at my mom's. The filling is to die for and it wasn't all that hard. Plus, no baking.

Have a fabulous rest of your week, and hopefully I will be back soon with a review of All the Light We Cannot See.

    1. We weren't worried about it spreading or anything but I felt bad for all the losses. At least it was at the end of the season. They were due to close anyway.

And oh yeah, cute as heck!

  2. That fire must have been scary for everyone involved in it! Your pup is still as cute as a button. And I love a good tiramisu every once in awhile. I've never tried to make one though. Too tempting. Better for me just to buy a single serving at a restaurant.

  5. He is gorgeous. But you (and he) know that.
Your stocking stuffer? We bought home some very similar ones from a trip to India decades ago. They are strangely fascinating (and calming) to fiddle with.
Fire, like water, is wonderful. And dreadful.

    1. We do stockings here at Christmas for each other, even tho we're adults lol, and fill them with useful and useless gifts. I also got angora socks :)

  6. Cool toy. Yeah, puppy will get up in that chair on his own soon, and you'll never get him out of it.

  9. I'm sorry to hear about the fire. That would be tough on a farm - I hope their insurance kicks in soon, too.
And your puppy is so adorable! The question is, do you want him to be able to hop on the chair?

    1. Yes, he can have the chair. Better that chair than the one he's sitting in now which I'm sharing. Cuz we're both not gonna fit here much longer!

    1. Oh, and could you please post a link for that recipe? I haven't eaten tiramisu in years. A homemade version would have to be somewhat healthier. Heh...

    1. I'm betting it's hugely expensive! But I also bet they have insurance. They're a pretty big operation.

  13. Your pooch is adorable, and don't worry. He'll be jumping into that chair in no time. If you're extra nice, he might even let you share it with him...

And hey! What's the big deal? You tell us about some great tiramisu you made, but you don't give us the recipe??? Dang, girl. That's downright cruel. :)
